Groninger Library Outreach Service


The Groninger Library's purpose is to provide effective, professionally supervised library services for clientele that includes active duty soldiers and their family members, retirees and their family members, National Guard, Reservists, civilians, contractors and college students attending college on Fort Eustis.

The Groninger Library provides materials, services, facilities, technology and up-to-date resources and programs to meet the educational, informational, cultural and recreational needs of the military community.

The Groninger Library is a free and vital resource, providing the military community with the opportunity to explore, discover, learn, grow, ultimately enriching individual lives and the community as a whole.

A stronger America begins with educated Americans.  The Groninger Library is important because education and knowledge is vital in today society.  There are all kinds of knowledge hidden in books,  books on CDs, and on the Internet.

The Groninger Library is committed to promoting intellectual freedom and a free access to information, materials and services to support lifelong learning.
